Express Mulch Inc. provides installation of a variety of playground materials, including Play Safe and Play Safe Plus ADA certified mulch. We are well educated on IPEMA (International Playground Equipment Manufacturers Association), ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), and ASTM guidelines for playground surfaces, as well as installation requirements, and we will work with you to select the best product.
Play Safe is playground mulch that is cut to size and filtered of debris. Play Safe is made of Melaleuca, an invasive, exotic tree that provides impact resiliency that meets ASTM standards (when laid at a 12-inch depth) and wheelchair accessibility required for ADA approval. Using this tree for mulch benefits the Florida environment, while providing a safe surface for playgrounds.
We also offer Play Safe Plus, which is independently certified by IPEMA and used by Florida School Districts. Play Safe Plus is made of pine trees and is cut to size and filtered making it is free of sharp objects that can cause splinters.
We blow in your mulch product efficiently, using our Express Blower truck that can install 30 cubic yards per hour. Its 350' mulch installation hose enables us to install mulch in hard-to-access play areas. We are available to provide installation during evenings and weekends to optimize playground usage.
